On Wednesday 5th November Derek and I reached the summit of La Malinche, 4462m. This is an inactive volcano, and was a good peak to start our acclimitization for the higher altitudes to come. Further details to follow.

Many congratulations on your first hill, I hope the others go well too.
However, on the same day I successfully climbed four hills in the Lake District , including Helm Crag which I believe is not only steeper but also more technical than La Malinche 😉
